The open notes
The open notes are the core of the Skel-archive: every idea written as its own short note, with links to the notes it depends on and the notes that build on it.
What it is
Most health information is published as separate articles that never connect. The open notes work differently. Posture links to breathing, breathing links to jaw position, jaw position links to sleep, and you can follow any thread as far as it goes. The result is a map of how these ideas fit together, which you can see as a network of connected dots.
Why it is open
- Free to read. No account, no paywall.
- Free to copy. The notes are plain text files. You can download the whole set and keep your own version.
- Open to correction. If something is wrong or out of date, anyone can point it out and it gets fixed in public.
How it is built
The notes are written in Obsidian, a note-taking tool built around linking, and published on GitHub so the full history of every change is visible.
Status
In progress. The first set of notes is being written now. This page will link to them as soon as they are public. Until then, the Learn page covers the basics and the blog has the longer write-ups.
